7/17/17 update
Sup, loved ones?
Been awhile since I've briefed y'all on Zi's comings and goings. So I figured I'd stop in and bless y'all with the latest news concerning the young king.
Ang is 26 weeks and 2 days today. This is the last week of her second trimester. We'll officially be in our third trimester on Saturday when Ang hits 27 weeks pregnant. Which is another miniature milestone.
This past Thursday, we toured Florida Hospital on the north end of Sebring, Florida. The staff there did a terrific job of making us feel comfortable, secure, safe and at home. They had about an 1-hr presentation where they gave us a ton of information and had us sign a bunch of preliminary paperwork so we could forgo all of that when we show up at the hospital in 13 weeks with a broken water and a mommy in labor. Made it a no-brainer for us, we'll definitely be delivering Zion there.
All of the shower invitations went out last week. Ang mailed the long distance ones, my mother in law delivered all the invites in Naples and my brother, Quay, and I hand delivered all the ones here in LP. The shower is right around the corner, August 26th. We're pretty excited and very prepared for it. It's really gonna be a good time and we're looking forward to seeing you all there (looking @ you, Rose, Jess and Symone). Angel did a bang-up job on the invitations. They're creative and perfect.
Both grannies have been busy this week spoiling Zi. On top of everything LaLa has already done, she went out and copped a ton of grandma related onesies. My mom went and a got the stroller/car seat combo off of our registry and I was actually over at their house when the UPS man delivered it. And I don't think a week has gone by where Auntie CoCo hasn't bought something for Z too.
Zion starts kicking every night we get in the bed. It's like he knows that's one on one time with daddy. I've been either reading out loud to him or playing music for him every night. I place my hand on Ang's stomach and can feel him responding. I love and look forward to our QT every day. I'm gonna read him a few GoT recaps tonight and then introduce him to the great, Michael Jackson.
Our next doctor appointment is on August 2nd. We're actually also doing the 3D/4D ultrasound on that very same date as well. So I'll have some pretty cool pictures to share with you all if my son isn't being all camera shy. Believe we get a DVD as well so hopefully I can figure out a way to upload a portion of that on here too.
